How to choose the right hair oil
Most hair oils sold in Pakistan do the same basic job: they coat the hair, reduce dryness and friction, and make a weekly champi (scalp massage) pleasant. What differs is texture — how heavy or light the oil feels — and scent. Choosing well is mostly about matching the oil to your hair type and the weather in your city.
Herbal blend or a single oil?
Herbal Hair Oil combines all 10 oils below with 13 herbs (amla, neem, hibiscus, fenugreek, curry leaves, reetha, shikakai, aloe vera, rosemary, henna leaves, onion, ashwagandha and tulsi) — an all-in-one choice if you don't want to mix your own. A single oil suits you if you already know what your hair likes, want to make your own blend, or need a lighter or richer texture.
Quick picks by hair concern
- Breakage and everyday hair fall: Herbal Hair Oil, castor (mixed with coconut) or kalonji. See hair fall care.
- Dry, itchy or flaky-feeling scalp: black seed (kalonji) oil, used for 1–2 hours only, then washed out. See dandruff care.
- Dry and frizzy hair: argan on the ends, olive or almond as a pre-wash treatment. See dry & frizzy hair.
- Fine or oily hair: jojoba, almond or coconut — the lightest oils.
- Thin-looking hair: castor and Herbal Hair Oil, used regularly for 8–12 weeks. See hair growth care.
- Traditional warm champi: mustard (sarson) or sesame (til) oil.
How to oil your hair properly
Warm 1–2 teaspoons between your palms, apply to the scalp in sections, and massage for about 5 minutes. Leave it on for 1–2 hours (overnight only if your scalp is not flaky), then shampoo — twice if needed — so no oil is left to attract dust. Two or three times a week is enough; daily oiling is not needed. Always patch test a new oil on your inner arm 24 hours before first use.
No oil regrows hair on bald patches, whatever the label says. Oils condition the hair and scalp and reduce breakage, which is why hair can look fuller over time. Sudden or patchy hair loss should be checked by a dermatologist.

Frequently asked questions
Which oil is best for hair fall in Pakistan?
For everyday hair fall caused by breakage, oil 2–3 times a week with Herbal Hair Oil, or castor oil mixed with coconut oil, and be gentle with combing and tight hairstyles. Sudden or patchy hair loss needs a dermatologist.
Which oil is best for dandruff?
Black seed (kalonji) oil is a traditional choice for a dry, itchy-feeling scalp. Leave it on for 1–2 hours, never overnight on a flaky scalp, and wash it out with Herbal Hair Shampoo.
Which oil is best for dry and frizzy hair?
Argan oil on the ends for shine, and olive or almond oil as a pre-wash treatment for very dry hair.
Which oil suits an oily scalp?
The lightest oils: jojoba, almond or coconut. Use a small amount, keep it on for an hour and shampoo it out the same day.
Can I mix castor and coconut oil?
Yes — it is one of the most popular mixes. Use 1 part castor to 2 parts coconut so it spreads easily and washes out.
How long should I leave oil in my hair?
One to two hours is enough for most people. Overnight is fine for a dry scalp, but not if you have dandruff or an itchy scalp.
How many times a week should I oil my hair?
Two or three times a week. Daily oiling is not needed and attracts dust in Pakistani cities.
Can I apply oil to wet hair?
Oil spreads best on dry or slightly damp hair. A few drops of argan or almond oil can go on towel-dried ends.
Can hair oil cause pimples on the forehead?
Yes, oil that runs onto the skin can block pores. Keep oil to the scalp, wash your face after oiling and change your pillowcase often.
How can I tell if a hair oil is pure?
Read the ingredient list: a single oil should list only that oil, with no mineral oil (paraffinum liquidum) or added fragrance. OrganicCare lists every ingredient on every product.
How long does hair oil last after opening?
Most of our oils keep well for 12 months after opening if the cap is closed and the bottle is kept out of direct sun.
What is the price of hair oil at OrganicCare in Pakistan?
Every hair oil, including Herbal Hair Oil, is Rs 550 for 30 ml, Rs 1,050 for 60 ml and Rs 1,450 for 120 ml, with Cash on Delivery all over Pakistan.
